Located in the department of Vaucluse, with the feet of the Mount-Ventoux and laces of Montmirail, Carpentras is the capital of Comtat Venaissin, famous for the beauty of its landscapes.
In the middle of Provence, Carpentras is known to be a town of market. Initially it is the truffle which gave to the markets of Carpentras a solid reputation since the Popes of Avignon came to supply themselves there.
